Appreciated stocks or securities can also be donated to EFO!
Gifts of appreciated securities can have significant tax benefits for the donor. Check with your accountant to see what benefits it may have for you, then download and print an EFO Stock Donation Form (PDF). Please notify EFO of all pertinent information regarding stock donations: type, number of shares, name of shareholder, and date of donation.
You can fax the completed form to us at (925) 253-0885 or email it to us at info@orindaefo.org. Without this information, we won’t know who made the donation. When the shares are transferred we do not receive any information about the donor or even your broker.
